My car is 05 lol..no more warranty.
How does drive train warranty cover wheel bearings? Aren't they wear and tear items?

The DIY out there is pretty detailed. I just changed both bearing and hub. While you're at it, go ahead and re-grease your axle. Don't forget to release your hand break to take the rotor out. I would suggest lowering your spring housing so you can get the axle out easily. Jack up the spring housing about 1/8" to 1/4" and remove the nut/bolt. Then lower the jack slowly.

I have a 350z. I've taken out the axles to grease them few months back. it was major pain in the **** to remove the axles. to make it easier, I can use a pulley to separate the hub from the bearings, right?

I think it would be easier to get the whole hub/bearing assembly from the car and take it to a shop to have the old bearing press out, and then press the new bearing in. It shouldn't be that much to press out/in a bearing. Takes about a minute.
