Screeching noise when accelerating after pushing in the clutch?!?
I had a NISMO flywheel and Clutchmasters clutch installed about 1500 miles ago. Since then I've noticed that if I accelerate hard, when I push in the clutch to go to the next gear I get this weird screeching sound for about 2 seconds and then it goes away. It sounds like its coming from the transmission. If I am driving normal I never hear it, and it only seems to happen over 4000 rpm or so.
Is this normal with the lightweight flywheel? Is my tranny dying?
The only thing I could think of is that the clutch seems to be adjusted pretty low on the pedal, maybe the clutch isn't disengaging all the way and the syncro's are grinding or something?
Thanks for your help!

Could be you need an adjustment on the clutch pedal, but did you change out the pilot bearing and throwout bearing or just use the same one when you replaced the clutch?
Thanks for the quick reply Project. I replaced the throw out bearing, and upgraded to the NISMO pilot bearing and the chromoly pivot ball too. Do you think that could be part of it?
It could be, and I only say that because the problem only presents itself under a heavy load...
