Ok relax. 30k is the NORMAL change interval for our transmissions. If you have AT I would recommend you listen to the dealer and use Matic-S fluid. Where you get it done is up to you.

Search is your friend. This question has to have been asked many many times.

Drain and fill is not a flush. Drain and fill should be done only if you haven't ever had your oil changed at a very high mileage. Everyone that I've ever talked to favors flushes over drain and fills. Flushes tend to be double the price but are worth it. I got one a 62k, just hit 80k and about to get one within a couple weeks. You might also wanna flush your rear differential fluid which would help as well.

Yes Tranmission fluid is Different from the differential.

If you have an automatic then get Matic-S you can find it cheaper online.

your differential will normaly take about 3 quarts of 80/90 gear oil, not synthetic just plain ol 80/90. I did mine today and there was nothing to it, probably took me 45 mins in all.

yup, diff only takes 1.5 qts. I used 75-90 Mobil syn.

6mt also takes the same oil.

grind in 2nd could possibly be your 2nd gear syncro going out.
change fluid first then see if that works, if not, I hope you have warranty.
