2003-2000 G35 6MT tranny vs 06-07.

Ok I have a 2003 coupe and I test drove my friend's 06 g35 also in 6mt. I noticed how much smoother his tranny is to shift than mine. He said he had the stock clutch and so do I but mine isn't as smooth as his. I recently replaced my tranny fluid to the Nissan fluid. Mine shifter is kind of rough to shift so I was wondering if you guys that have an 03-05 6 speed is this normal?

Yep mine is super stiff which makes me miss my old teggy cuz it shifted like butter. Im thinking of upgrading to the 06 tranny now.

yeah I can confirm this because my 03 trans went right after my engine and got an 05 engine and an 06-07 tranny. Car feels much better now, shifting is like butter. But I also did clutch and flywheel back to stock and change master and slave along with fluid flush.

save for a cd009 transmission. Its the strongest and newest transmission out of the different revisions.
