Weird Clutch Pedal issue...
Just picked up my G35 Coupe today and I thought it may need a new clutch the day I test drove it BUT it's hard to say.
The clutch never ever slips and I can spin the tires hard going into second but the pedal only engages the clutch almost all the way up...maybe 2 inches before the pedal is fully up.
My clutch fluid reservoir is dead center between min and max...could air be in there? Also is the clutch fluid reservoir the small one next to the brake booster I would assume?
What should I try? And what fluid should I use?
Thanks!

Our clutches came from the factory with a high engagement point. I still don't like it, but have gotten used to it. There are threads on this forum that discuss how to change the engagement point and how to adjust the clutch pedal feel.
The clutch fluid reservoir is the smaller one near the brake fluid reservoir. Since you don't know when they were last changed, I would flush the clutch system and the brakes while you are at it. Everyone has their opinion on fluid, but I like ATE Super Blue. Knowing when you have gotten all the old fluid out of the system is great. The clutch system took way more cycles to flush the system than I expected. It took less then 1 liter to completely flush both systems.
