Nismatic J now X?

My parts guy at the Nissan dealer tells me that Nismatic J is now X. Is that right? There is no dedicated fluids and lubricants area here and searching did not turn up the "x" fluid.

What is Nismatic? Are you talking about trans fluid? What the G35 needs is matic s, as it replaced matic j fluid as matic j was discontinued.

Thanks.

You can also run Amsoil universal tranny fluid. I ran it, as well as 3 other people I know with no issues.
