new owner - clutch question

Just bought 2006 Coupe. Happy but wondering why clutch so stiff and if that is common. Does not slip, shifts well, but stiff. Someone enlighten me ... Thanks.

i only drive the car with boots or shoes with a very stiff sole. driving with sneakers was causing foot pain. Good luck with your ride, the G is worth the extra effort!

the clutches are rather soft. they tend to get stiffer when they clutch is wearing out. i've noticed that the 03-04 brembo coupes have stiffer clutch pedals than the other years all together tho.

OK thanks all - seems consistent answers. Got the hang of it and now appreciate and enjoy how tight together the 6 gears are. Fun. Can ''cruise' (save that fuel) ... or spring and go like a leopard! It just wants to go! (happy ...)
