Who actually makes the Jim Wolf Tech (JWT) clutch?
Does anyone know who actually makes the JWT clutch and flywheels? Most parts like this are outsourced, and from what I've read have problems from time to time.
Would hate to buy a rebranded Southbend Clutch etc for double the price!
An example of rebranding is STILLEN in Orange County, Ca- rebrand the same parts such as an "engine damper" as their own though it is exactly the same as the ebay version from china, and are outsourced/built by someone else.
Someone has to know? any info is appreciated...

It is most certainly built in-house, and does not come from China. The reproductions you're seeing on ebay most definitely are, and unfortunately in this industry products are copied and reproduced (with varying quality) and there is a solid stream of people ready to buy to save a couple of bucks regardless of quality.
Please don't spread misinformation, we'd be more than happy to answer a PM with any questions, or better yet, if you're in the area, we'd love to give you a tour of the facility, where all STILLEN products are made, from performance parts, suspension components, urethane, and brakes.

I've own the stillen engine damper, and have held an ebay damper, they are identical and the stillen "red" one has no stamping or markings that say it is made by stillen. The anodizing is a perfect match as well. The only thing I see that is stillen is the instructions.

A little history on STILLEN

Hey Guys,
I thought I would take just a few minutes to give a little history on STILLEN. In 1985 Steve Millen started a parts and accessories company called "STILLEN." At that time Steve was racing off-road trucks for Toyota in the Mickey Thompson offroad racing series. With Steve's connection to the mini-truck scene STILLEN started by specializing in parts for mini trucks such as Chevy S-10's, Nissan Hardbodies, Toyota pick-ups. A few years later Steve was approached by NISSAN to be the lead driver on a new sports car team competing in the IMSA series. Steve was able to take his knowledge and experience from his twin turbo Nissan 300ZX race car and incorporate that into performance parts for the street. Steve raced for NISSAN until 1995 when he retired due to injuries sustained in a racing accident at Road Atlanta. In 5 short years Steve was able to win 2 world championships, the 24 hours of Le Mans, 24 hours of Daytona, and the 12 hours of Sebring. To this day Steve Millen is still the winningest driver in sports car history.
In 1985 STILLEN occupied a small, 1,500 sq. ft building in Santa Ana, California. In the early 90's we expanded into a new building down the 55 freeway a little bit. The new building was about 35,000 sq. ft. Then, it became time to expand that facility to accomodate more room for the distribution center. A couple of years later STILLEN was continuing to expand and we purchased the building across the street from ours. This building used to be used by a shipping company and took our over all sq. ft. of space to over 75,000. Then, around the year 2000 we purchased a building down the street from STILLEN which houses all of our metal fabrication and production machinery. In this building we produce all of our exhausts, sway bars, intakes, body support braces, and more. We even manufacture performance parts for some of the biggest companies in the industry...Including our competitors.
In 2008 we broke ground on another expansion project to double the size of our manufacturing facility. At this time STILLEN currently occupies over 100,000 square feet of Costa Mesa real estate. Between these three buildings we have our own in house R&D, machine shop, urethane production facility, modeling/design studio, production/fabrication facility as well as a well stocked distribution center.
95% of all STILLEN products are made in house and in the U.S.A. This is very important to us and will continue to be our policy. We want all of our customers to know that while other companies are outsourcing their production overseas or across borders we invest in more machinery, more employees, and further expansion. This will never change. Since day 1 Steve Millen has been adamant that our production stay in the U.S. and our quality be superior.

Yep.. we don't produce each and every part that goes into a kit.. We're not going to sit around and develop washers and bolts and things, but they are sourced from US companies. Some things are imported at times, electronics can be, but all assembly, and most manufacturing is done in one of the three facilities here in Southern California.
