Re: clutch problems

I had that same problem... Also the car had a strong burning smell after... So i decided to take it to the dealer and they told me that there was nothing wrong... Just that I had to keep them updated if the situation ever happen again... So far so good...

Re: clutch problems

good job glazing your clutch/flywheel... the materials probably were so hot and sticky icky that they decided to fuse together for a couple seconds. I'd say thats normal for an abused clutch it has never happened to me, then again, i dont abuse the clutch, just the engine and sometimes the $600 tires heh

Re: clutch problems

On tires: Just thought I'd throw this out there. Had really good experience with Khumo ECSTA Supra tires on a sport sedan a few years back. Great price!, excellent dry traction and kick-*** wet traction! They didn't wear any faster than the Bridgestones that were on it. They had better traction and were not as loud. Never wasting the extra money on Goodyear or Bridgestone tires again. Tired of paying for the name when better alternatives are available for cheaper. FWIW, Khumo made a name for themselves producing racing tires before venturing into the street tire market. Again, wet traction was better than anything I've ever experienced.

Worth looking into to see if they have a size to fit you.

'05 IP(or ?) 6MT... ...Never too soon to think about modifications!!

Re: clutch problems

Khumo ECSTA Supra may be good in the wet, but the dry
traction SUCK.

They're great, cheap tires for lower powered cars like Hondas.

Re: clutch problems

If your driving/clutching skills are on par with your spelling and grammar, that would explain A LOT.
