how does your clutch feel? firm or soft?

i was driving my friends g35coupe the other day, and noticed his clutch feels much softer (easier to push down) compared to my Z... i noticed it helps with smoother shifting so passengers don't get that slight "jerk/rock" when shifting through the gears, but i'm not sure if i like the feel of the clutch... one of the things i loved about the Z was how firm the clutch pedal felt to push down, it has a very solid/secure feeling.... i mentioned it to my friend, and he said his clutch felt a lot firmer when he first bought the car, but got softer over time... my Z has 24k miles, about 10k more miles then his G, and still feels like the day i bought it

Have you guys noticed your clutch getting softer over time?

Mine is actually stiffer than my friends 350z, however, his gear selector is very, very noisey and very notchy as well.
