Possible Clutch/transmission problem

Ok first things first, I am not very knowledgeable about cars or anything that has to do with clutches or transmissions. My problem is lately I have felt like the clutch has been difficult to engage when starting off. Yesterday was the most serious problem. I was on a pretty steep hill and when I went to go like normal from a stop I ended up revving the engine up like crazy because it was not catching. As a result burnt clutch and when it did engage the engine felt slow to react at first. Now when normally shifting etc not on a hill it feels somewhat fine. Is it just me? Is there a problem? or do I just suck at driving a manual? haha Thanks to anyone in advance for helping out.

mine had some of the same issues. if you need to let the pedal all the way out before the car moves it could be the slave cylinder. i changed mine and engagement happened much sooner but the clutch still felt weak when shifting hard. my car would kinda bog down when shifting from 1-2. I then replaced the entire clutch and the car hooks up great.

^ Good to know. How much was it all, or would this be something covered by warranty?

My warranty is long over so I use an independent local shop. Dealerships are seriously hit or miss, sometimes they get it right but my experience is that the dealership is no guarantee you are getting quality work. You never know who actually works on the car at a dealership. I paid around $350 for the slave and hydraulic line installed. The clutch was $1150 total using all OEM parts. I supplied a nismo flywheel which cost an extra $520. Your still under warranty so I'd bring it to infiniti first and see what they say.

To OP, sounds like your clutch is going out. Replace em, hit up THMotorsports. OEM exedy clutch and ACT streetlite flywheel package for around 600 dollars.
