ACT Clutch and Flywheel help

I recently replaced my worn out factory clutch and flywheel after 71000 miles with a ACT clutch and ACT HD lite street flywheel. I have 200 miles on the setup now and having a real hard time adjusting to the chatter I'm getting. I know the flywheel isn't a dual mass flywheel but its like starting a mack truck in 10th gear! You can't let out the clutch slowly because of the chattering. Once it's engaged up shifting and down shifting is not a problem. Reverse is worse yet since sometimes you need to back out slowly and unless you fully engage the clutch...I don't want to do 20 mph in reverse! Is this normal for a light weight flywheel. The install was done by a very experienced trans guy and he said I'd experience a big difference from the OEM setup. Is this normal??
