I made a joke saying I always double clutch because our transmissions suck, but Pauly C said he double clutches because the RPMs drop fast when you push the clutch in and at faster speeds you have to double clutch to make the engine keep up with the transmission. If that is the case with the JWT flywheel, I am up for it..

yeah i caught on your joke my question was for Pauly C.
I got about 1k km on it so far and its been great. I didnt drive it hard yet we have tons of snow and SLIP is blinking all the time.
Why double clutch? Why not REV match while you're clutched in? isnt that the same?
example shifting from 2 to 3 driving hard
second gear, 6k RPM.
Gas off, Clutch in, shift to third. RPM dropped to 2k let say?
While clutched rev match (to 4500 maybe? or whatever) then release clutch.
wouldnt that be the same?

Does the clutch pedal require more or less effort to depress or to raise up?
Does the clutch start grabbing sooner or later than stock - that is higher off the floor compared to stock or lower?
Is the range of friction zone more or less than with stock?
Tighter or looser doesn't really explain clutch action. Such terms are better used to describe sexual partners

1- Please clarify what exactly you mean by tighter?

2- Same if not easier than stock.
3- My OEM was near the end, with the JWT is less than half way through. I would guess 35% off the floor and the friction zone starts
4- My stock one was about 1", I have a good 1.5 to 2" with the JWT.
5- LOL agreed.

Yea, pretty much, I think a lot of 18-wheelers need to double clutch...basically any gear box without synchros.
I think my car has a stock clutch. A couple previous owners and was never told it was replaced. Bought it with 77K miles and now at 140K miles. Slips a few RPM here and there..

where your engagement/disengagement point? is it near the end?

But I was seriously thinking about the pedal but that changed alot after i installed the JWT. I might still consider it in the spring
