just replaced oem clutch with JWT. cant get clutch pressure back.

hey i recently swapped my 5AT for the 6MT, did the conversion myself, and everything went smoothly. i did however use an old clutch a friend gave me to get the project done quicker and after slipping around for about 2500 miles i had to replace it with something legit. my budget was tight but i didnt want to sacrifice quality so i got my oem flywheel resurfaced and chose the JWT clutch kit. put back in the flywheel and clutch and replaced the throwout bearing(removed throwout fork when i did this) no problem but after bolting back up the bellhousing i found the pedal wouldnt return back up. there feels like maybe 4 inches of stiffness at the bottom of the pedal that you can pump but it wont come all the way back up. i never even disconnected the clutch line when replacing the clutch, there was enough slack to just push the tranny back and have space to work. ive bled the clutch numerous times and it didnt really help. Ill also be posting a full tranny swap DIY with lots of pics very soon. if any of yall have had this problem when replacing the clutch before please lend any advice that may help. thanks a bunch in advance, i need to get my baby back on the road!!

Sometimes this happens when installing a new clutch, the dead pedal may go away after break in, or you can just adjust the pedal to eliminate it.

when I finally got the clutch to work I had to completely max out the length of the master cylinder fork and the engagement point is still significantly lower than stock. other than that it feels great and all is well with the car.
