Update for you guys! Got the new shifter cup from texas today, paid it a waopping 14$ which wasent soo bad after all! New methode of installation which worked out amazing! Put the short shifter in a drill press, I used sunlight soap and lubbed up the whole cup and ball. Hold the shifter cup sturdy on the drill press plate and pull down. The shifter popped right into place no problem!
