LSD for V35

hi everyone
i recently bought an 03 CPV35 6mt (i live in australia).
its fresh from japan, and the previous owner has had some nice tuning done.
it has bilstein coilovers with hyperco springs, however the differential is still standard.

for the time being i will be enjoying the car 'as is', however i may be looking at a few more upgrades in the future.

*does an aftermarket LSD affect the VDC system at all? if so in what way?
*has anyone had experience with exchanging the standard LSD for an aftermarket one? from my research I would probably consider Nismo, Cusco, or Carbonetics/ATS&Across 1.5way.
*if so, how does the handling change after instalation of the aftermarket 1.5way LSD?

advice/suggestions appreciated.
(i posted this in drivetrain section since diff is part of drivetrain, but it relates more to handling than engine..mods please feel free to move if u think its in the wrong spot..)

It will not effect the VDC, I have a quaife gear style LSD and it is nice on the street. I have heard more than once the cusco ones are not very street friendly.
