Angry clearcoat failing on my black 07 sedan already?!?

Sup guys got a black 07 sedan and went for a detail estimate today and the guy pointed out this....

Is anyone else's car getting spots like this? Has anyone with the older v35 G's dealt with this 8 years into their car? I find this quite shocking for my cars paint to be doing this already.

The clearcoat on my 08 failed about 3 years ago. This is a common issue with the 07-08 V35s from what i've seen. Steer clear of the "soft touch" car washes. They'll tear the clear coat right off. Stick with touch-free or wash it yourself. Also, i've successfully used the 3M defender spray to keep my coating intact for the past year. It's only delaying the inevitable but it helps.

Black is the worst color in terms of UV damage. I have recently started waxing my car regularly because it is now always outside and often bakes under the sun.
