Drive belt and Transmission Fluid Changed

Just wanted to see if i am being ripped off?

I went to the dealer and they said my drive belt is cracked/dry. It'll cost me $250 to change it. And also my transmission fluid should be changed too. That'll cost another $250. So altogether it'll be $500.

I call this small shop and was offered $225 to have my drive belt changed and my transmission fluid changed. So pretty much half the price of what the dealer offered. Is this a decent price? i mean, i would be saving already from the dealership, but i wanted to know if $225 was a decent deal.

I have a 06 infiniti coupe.

Thanks in advance.

Belts can be purchased for around $30 and 4 qts of tranny fluid should cost around $40 and the DIy factor in doing these 2 jobs is super easy. $70 sounds better than $250 or $500 to me.
