Anyone tried this shifter,

why bother with a short shift kit. The throw on the g35's are short enough. You could get something that has more value to your car with the amount of money you would spend on that shifter.
Just my opinion.

I'm on the fence about this mod as well. A few guys on my350z uses it and says it's not bad, but i think it might be related to a weighed shift **** so i bought that and will try it on my car to see if it makes a big difference.
gabe, im sure most of the improvements people "feel" in terms of shifting improvement is from the ****. hands down. that said, it comes with a better bushing at the bottom. if nothing else, over time, its not going to get shitty like the factory rubber. i have a honda racecar and i replaced the shift linkage bushing with a poly unit and where there was slop before, its relatively solid now. it feels better for sure. i would suspect that this has a similar effect (although my car's shifter doesnt have a lot of slop anyway). Let us know what you think of just the **** when u get it. people seemed to really like the forged perf ****, but i like the looks of the tmw better.
