Clutch & FlywheelCombo for FI

Hello all

I just need some advice on clutch & flywheel combo for an '05 6MT. . .

Am planning on going FI and my tuner recommended OS Giken for $1,500 with flywheel, since it will be a daily driver.

I heard OS Giken is really good and not a pain in the *** to drive on a regular basis. . .

Someone mentioned the ACT # NZ1-HDG6 & Flywheel # 600215 combo for $1k

The OS Giken is really tempting but it's gonna blow out my whole budget.

Any other recommendations?

how much power will you be putting down? if you want to keep daily drivability you choices may be a little limited depending on your power.

jwt and spec II should be good for stock block builds. i have carbonetics triple disc which is awesome for daily and power but it is expensive

Not that much power since it's a stock block. . .

Am just concerned with the drivability since it's a daily driver. . .

I don't know if your keeping up with this thread still or made your decision already but I've been running a centerforce dual friction clutch paired with a act street light flywheel. I've only got a few bolt on mods to my 06 G but it's held up for over 60k hard miles and without the first slip.

Import parts pro: JWT clutch & flywheel kit including a couple other things for $775 shipped. I'm running greddy twins and haven't had a single issue.

Well untill you boost your car or have at least a spray, then that clutch should keep up.
