Hey all,

Just wondering if theres a way to reverse the tip tronic shifting. Instead of pushing forward to shift up, it would down shift. and vice versa.

I find it very difficult to get use to having to push the shifter forward to upshift while i got her to the floor .I dunno why, maybe its the years of manual tranny's.

Its a 2004 G35 sedan.

I guess i could look at the service manual and see if i can just swap some wires.

yes you can. you just have to move the contacts around and that's it. I just been to lazy to do mine but i know what you mean.

 

Yes you can reverse it. There is a DIY thread about it I think showing which wires to change.

I've had mine reversed for the last 4yrs with no issues.
