Question Engine swap or new valve cover's?

Here is my dilemma.
My spark plug seals are leaking on both sides(don't know which cylinder numbers but its the back one by the firewall wall, both of them)

Option 1: New valve covers+some labour 800-900CAD (each valve cover is 346+13%tax)
Option 2: another engine 800-1300 + 500 labour

What options would you suggest?Money wise is about the same, plus my car already has 209k on it.

Question:what vq35de's can i put in there,could i put a HR in there?
Thank you.

P.S if anyone has any ideas on how to fix the issue without replacing the spark plugs, would greatly appreciate it.

Wouldn't you just experience the same problem with the new engine you put in as it is a common problem with our engines?

not worth a new engine or 500 dollars in labor, you and your friends could replace your covers

My prespective on this.
The symptoms that are diagnosed are.
My rings are starting to go.
Valve covers needs to be change
And Misc stuff that i cant do with the engine in there.

So the question is,could i swap for a newer VQ with more power in the 2004 sedan?
By looking at it its worth the 500-800 extra.

Yes,that problem wont go away, and i fully agree with you on it.
I am leaning towards the swap because i can fix other issues we have or prevent them.
