Newly rebuilt 5AT (BUILT) w/ TB + Edge TQConverter

Hey guys,

Selling my 5AT as I'm going with more power than I really want to put threw this thing. Heavy duty gears, band, throttle body (Solenoids etc.), and an EDGE torque converter built for a street application of a high HP (Talked to the owner and had it built to spec). 2800 stall.

I spared no expense on this. I just replaced the band and first and second gear to make sure it would be in the best shape possible when I sell it (0 miles on that) Everything else has 8000 miles on it.

Asking $3500, Not splitting anything up at this point. Unless you want the tranny without the TQ converter-- then i will sell that separately.

I did it right, and all together. If you're doing a lower boost turbo application or supercharger build- this thing is for you- and it's practically brand freaking new.

Cost on building tranny alone was $3200. This is a great deal and will not be used until you install it.

I'm open to offers, I really don't want to sit on this thing forever.

How much HP do you think this will be able to hold? I think your priced right most performance 5ATs for this car are like $4200. Wish I had the money. GLWS

It's more of torque. I ran about 525 RWTQ to it most of the time and it was just too much.

There isn't an exact science to AT's and there's no magic number that is 'safe'. All I know- is I spared no expense to build this and I replaced anything that showed ware on the tranny.

If I did it all over again, I'd set the number so I didn't go over 450 TQ and have fun with it. I just tried to kill it and then drove it pretty harsh--- I just wanted more, and so I went with a 6 speed.

Will this be a direct bolt on for my 2008 350Z? Were you just using a stock flexplate?
