On in M when I push hard and shift in the 3-4K range. It's really touchy on that area. If before 3K or after 4.5k it's fine...?

I see. On my way home tonight ill experiment and see what mine is like >2k vs 3-4k range. It doesn't seem to matter what position the throttle is at for me it bangs if im WOT or if im applying a tiny amount of throttle.

How bad is your clunk? Mine is a pretty loud bang!

You know what it sounds like. It's the weirdest type of up shift noise. Not clank or blam, but a clunk or think or thump. "Sound out these words."

Haha yes that is what is sounds like! Well I suppose its normal then in M mode?

I wish I never installed this kit now I assume the only way to reverse it is to find a stock valve body from the same year transmission?

I think your the only one. That bang noise from the guy telling me is that is less slippage in the transmission. I had that problem going on for years when I was stock. When the guy was installing it he saw nothing wrong w/ my transmission

Well I spoke to transgo support and the tech there said that there should be no clunking or banging noises at all.

Perhaps our kits have been installed incorrectly?

Does anyone have the install instructions for the kit? I tried searching for them but so far I have not been able to locate them.

I have the transgo as well on my Vortech 03 5at. I'm experiencing fast & crisp shifts (Smooth like stock but quicker) when 1>2, 3>4, and 4>5. However 2>3 is touchy: at ~40% throttle it feels like im getting rear ended and a loud clunk when in MM. Also the 2>3 in D mode seems like it happens too soon when ~30% throttle as if it shifts too soon. I had my tuner ride in my car for this and apparently its normal because instead of using the clutch packs more to smooth the shifts, they are happening like "Bam!" instantly engaging.

That's exactly what mine is like. I find if I drive the car for say 20min the 2>3 shift seems to be less severe however it's not always the case. I was considering having the vb looked at but I'm not sure I'll bother now.
