tranny problems

hey whats up yall im new to the site and just recently purchased a 2003 g35 coupe with a lot of miles. anyways every now and then when im shifting into third the gear will scratch and when I take off sometimes it kinda feels like im getting wheel hop from a slow take off like from a light and when im on the freeway in a high gear sometimes when I give her gas it will kinda rev up and then you will hear like a grinding noise when it will go away and start going just fine. im thinking the worse like im have to replace the tranny and such but if anyone has any helpful info they can share I would appricate that so much hopefully its something simple but it doesn't seem like it... thanx for the help

get ready for no third gear. You will need a new tranny within a few days maybe a week. Pretty well known issue with 3rd gear syncro. Mine did the same thing.

You can get one through z1 motorsports for 1600 it is the cd009 transmission as well. So no more grinding gears.
