Exclamation [HELP] 4th to 5th grinding.

Hi, I just recently bought a used 2008 G35S sedan(6 speed) and I just recently noticed something that happens. When I shift from fourth to fifth gear swiftly, in one fluid motion, it kind of grinds a little bit going in, but when done "step-by-step", from fourth, neutral, then into fifth, it goes in perfectly fine. This also doesnt happen when I'm going from any other gear into fifth gear(or any other gear, for that matter), just from fourth to fifth. If this question was already answered, could someone please point me in the direction to getting answers? Thanks!

Make sure the alignment plate on the shifter is properly installed. You might be overshooting or undershooting by a couple mm when shifting fast.
