I am new to this forum and I hope you guys can help me.
2008 G35x
Recently my car has been Idling very high and not driving smoothly.
My friend has a scanner and the following transimission codes popped up
U1000 and P1815
I read up on the codes and i am still confused.
P1815 INFINITI - Manual Mode Switch WHERE IS THE MANUAL MODE SWITCH ?
Possible causes

-Harness or connectors(These switches circuit is open or shorted.) WHERE IS THE HARNESS

-Mode select switch (Built into A/T control device)

-Position select switch (Built into A/T control device)

• DTC U1000 (CAN COMM CIRCUIT)
OR
• DTC U1010 (CAN COMM) [2006 Models only]

stored in the engine control unit, and there are no drivability incidents.


PLEASE HELP !!!

 

I'm way late to this party of 1, but I literally have the exact same problem. 2008 g35x automatic w/ the same 2 codes and idling/acceleration issues.

Any chance you ever figured this one out?

 

Did you ever fix this problem? What was the solution?
