Just wanted to write alittle something regarding my experience with my 2007 G35x. A few days ago, the reverse gear would not engage and would just rev....
I looked at may forums and the problem could have been many things....from an electronic problem to...worst case scenario....tranny is finished....
Well, it was the worse case scenario......i had a friend look into getting a transmission from somewhere else other than the dealer but seems Infiniti trannies are something to reckon with...so I had to get it done at the dealer.....
I love the car...but didnt think I would be replacing my tranny at 148K KMS...
$2,500 later , the car is like brand new once again....
