I was just wondering if I could just get a vlsd pumpkin and swap it in? If so which one should I look for? I am sure that this has been asked 100 times but I could not find the answer to this just a lot of people asking if they had LSD. I know a real LSD would be better but seems like the VLSD would be fine for while it is stock. Let me know, thanks!

 

Simple swap, especially if you have a lift. It can be done in a driveway but it's a pain in the azz because the diffs are so heavy. If you want a direct swap, just find a 3.3 diff from any 03-04 G35s and 350Zs, 05-06 5AT sedans or 05-07 G35 5AT coupes and I believe 350Zs. If you want a little more grunt down low but are willing to sacrifice higher speeds gas mileage look for a 3.5 diff out of the 05-06 6MT sedans, 05-07 6MT coupes and I believe 350Zs. I'm pretty sure you'll need to look at the cars with the sport package to find the 3.5s. I did the swap in my 05 sedan to the 3.5 years ago and have been very happy with it.
