Hey guys, so I have an 06 g35 coupe with a manual trans. Earlier this week I noticed the rpms will spike up to about 2000 rpms when I push in the clutch after completely letting off the throttle. Doesn't matter how fast I'm going. As soon as I press the clutch in the rpms increase. Also when this happens the car loses hp Almost like it's in limp mode. When I press the clutch in the rpms will jump to 2000 and slowly go down to 1000 rpms and stay there. The car normally idles at 800 to 900 rpms. Can anyone help?

 

Any engine codes? Could be a Mass Air Flow sensor or a bad throttle body.

 

No engine codes. It doesn't happen all the time only about 4 times since this past Friday

 

Try these resets, might have just picked up bad behavior.
