I'm not totally sure what you're saying, you pressed the bearing onto the bearing carrier yes, or did it come assembled already. There is no way the two should be loose since it requires a shop press just to assemble those two pieces.
EDIT: are you saying the bearing carrier is loose on the nose cone of the transmission?

Ok I see what you mean... I've never seen the bearing loose on the carrier sleeve like that before honestly, my gut instinct is they shipped you the WRONG or a DEFECTIVE bearing.
What does the number on the bag it came in say, I think the correct Nissan/Infiniti part number is 3050269F10, is that your existing bearing carrier sleeve?

Something definitely sounds wrong, if you start rotating the bearing ON the carrier sleeve then it's going to create a lot of heat. If it's the same bearing carrier sleeve and you pressed the old one off then I'd say you ended up with a defective bearing. If it's a DIFFERENT carrier sleeve and you never saw a bearing attached to it then I'd say the fault is likely the sleeve. Just to verify the packaging was for an OEM throw out bearing yes and it had the proper ID number I listed earlier, the package was unopened?
Just for the sake of checking, exactly what markings are stamped on the bearing? It's not a Koyo RTC40SA3 is it?

That's the correct bearing. I guess your bearing carrier sleeve is damaged, it's possible the old bearing was seized and spun on the carrier and wore it down considerably or maybe it was defective in the first place.
I'm surprised Z1 said it's ok to install like that, did you email them the video link so they could looks at it?
