Flywheel bolts length?

I'm going to be changing my flywheel soon but damn if I'm going to pay nearly $60 for 8 bolts.

The ARP bolts are roughly equivalent in strength (tensile and shear) to M10x1.0 class 12.9 bolts, and they're 25mm long.

Problem is, I can't find this size in anything shorter than 30mm except from Fastenall, which apparently sells crappy hardware which I don't want on my flywheel according to an older mechanical engineer coworker of mine (who works on a 1980s 911 as his project)

Can anyone who has done this job comment on whether the crankshaft threads are long enough for an extra 5mm long bolt?
