Hey guys, I’m in a bit of a pinch here, hopefully someone can help. i bought an 04 g35 coupe from a private seller, long, long story short, I found out afterwards that it was swapped from AT to MT ... everything seems to have went fine except one issue. PNP switch code. Now I read on the tranny swap sticky thread 5AT-6MT swap, that you can reflash the ecu and erase the code parameters so that code will go away, but I CANNOT find anyone who can do this for me. I am in the San Diego area any suggestions would help a ton. Thank you

 

Seymore4 is our resident e-tuner that may be able to help you out. But you might have to buy an uprev tuning license.

 

does it matter that my G isn’t the uprev edition if I was to get the uprev tuning license(sorry, I just don’t know what that is)

I’m interested, but I’m trying to take this route cause I’m hoping it’s less expensive then replacing the entire ECU and harness

 

You're confusing the Rev-up motor with the Uprev tuning system. The rev-up came on 05-07 Coupes and 05-06 sedans with the 6MT and is notorious for oil burning issues.

Uprev uses a tune named Osiris to maximize the cars driveability and has other benefits as well. Contact seymore4 here for more information as per Urban's advice above.
