What year had Threaded Axle Stubs?
I just got around to installing a tomei lsd into a diff I got online. It had a 4.3 fd and was an open diff. It didn't come with axle half shafts so I just ordered them through the same people. Once I got everything put together I finally realized that my axle stubs have threads and now my bolts wont go through. Everything else matched up the bolts even fit the threads. The problem now is that the bolts dont have enough threads to bolt on. So does anyone know what year the axle stubs came with threads so I can find the right bolts?
The 4.3 ratio was never a factory option so it must have been swapped out at some point with aftermarket gearing.
Some of the 370Z differentials did come with odd-sized flanges that required longer bolts but I THINK they are a discontinued item and you will need to just swap the half-shafts out for the normal thickness ones.
Call Z1 and ask them if they can still get those bolts, they're not showing up in the Nissan catalog anymore.

I managed to find the bolts on Z1 thanks. I guess they sent out 370z stubs by mistake. Still pretty annoying though haha it was advertised as plug and play but the stubs were wrong and I had to swap out the pinion flange because it was too small.
