Want to do an AWD conversion (seriously)
IMHO, your only hope would be to graft a G35C body to a G35X that sustained a rollover. The sensors and wiring alone would be enough to drive a sane man mad. Good luck, and let me know if you need any "X"-specific service diagrams.
After giving this some thought, you might be better off importing some GTR drivetrain parts and going the Motec route; the ATTESA-ETS PRO itself is worth the look, as well as limited-slip both front and rear (the X has neither).
Why not try to become the first twin-turbo G35X? It would be faster than the FrankenCoupe and fewer headaches, IMHO.

As an aside, the people who chastized the original poster should be ashamed of themselves.
More lateral thinking is EXACTLY what this board needs, not a bunch of trite "crackrock" or other nonproductive comments.
To those people, when exactly was the last original idea YOU had?

Dreaming and thinking out side of the box is to be commended. However - you have a problem - your budget.
I would like nothing more to see you succeed, but take it from somebody that has been in the performance/custom fab business... you probably need a budget of at least 10K and probably more to even think about this project.
Unfortunately, days of just bolting parts up are gone... with sensors, computers, wires, etc at every corner of the car these days... especially the AWD G35X with it's sophisticated systems... you'll have quite the electronic nightmare in front of you - just letting you know. It may even be easier to use the G35X front transfer case/axles, but an aftermarket center diff transfer case. Basically, the engine and electronics will just worry about the RWD they are accustomed to controlling, and a torque-sensing center diff can handle the AWD stuff, so you don't have to worry about changing the electronics and sensors for AWD.
We once converted a VR4 back to RWD to make it a better race/track car. Even though that was many years ago on "ancient" electronic controls by today's standards... it was still a PIA. I also remember a Porsche 928-4 that was converted to RWD for the same reason.
Point is... I would like to see you succeed, but you realistically need a lot more money.

Hey man,
Wish I could help you out, but I can't unfortunately. I did want to say that I know exactly where you are coming from. I see you are in Duluth and I feel your pain
Having lived all over Canada and knowing what a true snow and ice belt is and is not (ie: Fredericton Is, Toronto Is Not), I have a true appreciation for AWD. My last 3 cars have been AWD, and I almost decided not to buy the G because of this. I was very disappointed that the Coupe does not come in AWD, and I simply wasn't going to buy a Sedan.
I'll be following along with your progress and wish you the best of luck. My solution for now is to buy some POS beater truck for use in the winter. There is simply no way I will take my G out when the snow is up to my knees on the road, no matter how good of snow tires I have. Conversely, I was able to plow through 2 feet of snow with my Subaru AWD and snow tires fairly well, passing all the abandoned RWD cars on the side of the road
Good luck
