Question about Shifting into Gears

Hey guys, I have an 05 g35 coupe. I noticed that my gears are tough to go into. They don't feel smooth coming from 4th gear to 5th gear. Is that just how the car is? I'm a noobie when it comes to cars so thanks for all the help.

are you sure your pushing in your clutch in all the way or atleast enough to where you can engage/disengage the gears when you shift into the gear

on new MT cars the shifter can be pretty stubborn. it gets better after about 5k miles though.

It could just be you have not broken it in yet. Also, make sure you push in the clutch all the way.

Our shifters are also a little bit harder to get into the gates than other cars due to our synchros, but I only get resistance enterin 2nd from 1st, or downshifting into 1st. Havent heard of anything from 4th to 5th. Wait for ~2000 more miles and see if it gets better.

My car actually already has 11.5k miles on it. I don't understand why it is still so tough to change gears.
