Throttle Position Sensors problems or something else???
Hello guys/gals,
I was wondering is anyone had this problem with throttle response. I read in some links that state there is a faulty Throttle Position Sensor (TPS) problem on the '03-'05's.
I'm just curious because on this one factor. A couple months ago I dropped off my '05 AUTO coupe to the dealer to get the undercoating done; moreover, then gave me a loner '05 AUTO coupe for the day. What surprised me was the throttle response on the car. It was like it wanted to race every time I tapped the accelerator
(the feeling that's how it should drive).
So, later that day, I pick my car up feeling a little sluggish.
Now 2 weeks back, I take it in for a Clear Bra install, the service consultant gives me a loaner again, but now its a '05 AWD sedan... I drive it and it's the same lightning quick response from the gas pedal
. Is it just coincident or is my TPS jacked or I need my ECM reflashed???
Any suggestions or help/feedback are greatly appreciated? Thanks in advance.

It's because the Drive by wire system adjusts to the way you drive... light on the throttle driving or heavy throttle etc...
If you do a ECU reset it should feel quick again. I'm guessing most loaner cars are driven hard so the throttle is set/used to that. But your not gonna drive your own car hard all the time would you? Tires/Gas MPG/Engine wear will make you drive normally.
