Delay when acclerating from stand still?

I think thats the way automatic works, it happens on my mom's camry, friends tl and every automatic I drove.

There's a certain pressure you push to get zero delay...But if you stomp on it, there will be a delay..

from what i heard from friends.. its better to slowly push on the pedal, for a little, THEN push it down, so it starts it off without that stall.. good luck

or brake torque.. it will get rid of the delay.
