Ok so Im kind of new for this platform and was wondering if all 5AT models come with the manual up/downshift mode? I know Infiniti's site doesnt state otherwise but that only refers to the new models and I want to know about a 2003. Thanks for the help!!

All the 5AT models do have the manumatic mode. After 2003, the tranny software changed, making the sedan's 5AT act like the coupes. i.e. they hold the gear selected and downshift to first at a stop. Prior to that, the sedan's 5AT was a top gear selector and the tranny was free to shift between the top gear selected and first. It did not downshift to first at a stop. Most everyone preferrs the new tranny software.
