yes, friction modifier is for the rear LSD...
yes, its ONLY for MT tranny and MT/AT Rear Diff.
you'll need 7.5qts total for MT Trans and Rear Diff (to be safe)
I had Spirax gear oil in my old car (05 6MT) i do suggest you NOT to use it until your trans is WELL broken into.. i wouldnt use it until you have 8-10k on the car. it is a VERY thin fluid.. does a great job at hot conditions and even better when you're pushing it. BUT when its cold it takes a bit for the fluid to warm up.. its a pretty harsh shift when compairing cold start trans vs warmed up.. so for those of you that just go from point A to point B.. i wouldnt use something as extreme as this.. i'd suggest something syn in the same grade
edit: btw when you guys are doing this make sure the car is leveled when your adding fluid in -_-
