I have a excellent condition VQ35DE engine out of a 2006 FX35 that had 143k miles. It does not come with oil pan so any RWD or AWD pan will fit. I have the valve covers loose for inspection, they are very clean inside. The engine has never been opened up besides the valve covers.
This is a regular DE with only intake cam sensors - Will not fit Rev-up G35 or 350Z models that have 4 cam sensors.
Fits:
G35 - 2003-2007 (2007 Coupe auto only)
M35 - 2006-2008
FX35 - 2003-2008
350Z - 2003-2006
$350 - AWD Oil pan not included

I didn't do any tests on it but know that it ran fine until the FX35 that it was in got rear ended. Was a fleet vehicle so it was maintained very well, you can tell by how clean it is under the valve covers and crank case. It was also behind a SUV / automatic so it hasn't been rev'd out and rode hard like an old Z motor. I bought this so I would have a spare to freshen up for the turbo V35 car but plans moved into a V36 platform.
Oil usage haha... It's a VQ35DE so yeah it will probably use 1 to 1.5 quarts per 3k miles, they all do. We have built quite a few Nissan turbo engines and the only real oil consumption fix is a $40 set of rings, head gaskets and a dingleball hone job. Then it's good for another 120k or so. It fixes the problem on Toyota 2AZ-FE engines too.
If someone wanted this engine re-ringed, new gaskets, honed, and bearings clearanced we could get you a price on that too.
