DIY: High Clutch? want to lower your clutch engagement point?
make sure to leave a some leeway (centimeter or more). The clutch engages earlier than you'd think. you can do a easy test by:
1) adjust your clutch
2) pressing clutch in
3) shift into first, shift into neutral (don't release the clutch)
4) shift into first again right away - you will notice there is no resistance, because the synchro has synced up the tranny components
5) shift into neutral, wait 15-30 seconds (we are still pressing the clutch here)
6) shift into first. if you encounter more resistance than in step #4, raise your clutch adjustment.
7) repeat until #6 results in the same feel as #4.

hmmm i adjusted mine and its a tad bit higher than the break pedal... is this okay? or should it be even with the break pedal? i got dizzy from being under there for so long haha. can someone take some pics in comparison of the break and clutch pedal? thanks

Ok i tried this adjustment this morning, and I did 3 clockwise turns. It does engage alot earlier, but one thing that scared me was that I was feeling a slight vibration in the floor by my left foot when my foot was even off the clutch. Since the first day, my clutch has always chattered very minimally and it goes away when the clutch is pushed in. After the mod, I pushed my clutch in, and the chattering wasnt going completely away, I was listening to it very carefully, and that told me the clutch wasnt fully disengaged. I put it back to stock cuz it scared me. One thing for sure, the clutch pedal becomes alot softer after the mod. Anyone else have some more cents to throw in?
this mod lowers the engagement point basically you don't have to push the clutch as much as u do with regular clutch which engages pretty high. so this way when u shift u can basically just push it shift and ease it out. instead of pushing, shifting and playing with it that way the car doesn't jump/stall on u... Go look at your car and see where the clutch sits.. and just imagine it a tad lower like as if it was sunken in a bit... quicker shifts basically.

i turned mine 1 1/4 turn feels perfect for me.
