New G/car enthuisist questions
Re: New G/car enthuisist questions
Just a word of advice, read some magazines and learn what each mod is going to due for you.
By adding a cold air intake(CAI) you might get an increase of 5-8 HP but you might also loose some of the low end torque. And you probably will not feel a difference via the butt dyno.
Not to mention, the G is a pretty powerful car in stock form and you should probably spend some time learning to drive first.
Maybe attend some local SCCA events when they have a novice day to learn the limits of your skills in an environment where you won't be putting others at risk.
When your skills have improved enough to meet the cars limits then look into upgrading the power.
Just my opinion, but I'd hate to see you hurt yourself trying to drive a car that already has more power than you can probably handle.
Good luck.

Hey Tori
Strongly recommend Gordgee's hyperground kit.
You'll love it.
Alos, ECU is also an option, as the dealer will never know, and it is absolutely maintenance-free.
