I have a 5/16 spacer and i never had to reset the ECU, never heard of anyone reseting after this mod. With the breathing mods that you do have headers, exhaust, intake, and spacer you might want to look into getting a technosquare ECU think the website is www.technosquareinc.com check it out it helps the autos gain alot of HP if you have a 6 speed you still might want to look into it (something to do with the factory ecu not allowing the engine more air than the stock intake so after markets almost decrease hp from what i read).

If you dont feel like spending that much money on a ECU look into what i had installed its called a s-afc II its made by apexi its a decent little mod it helps alot with air intakes and what not to get air and fuel mixtures right. You have to have it dyno tuned but when i had by tuned with just the intake and exhaust it added around 25hp so it was worth it. I have not had it retuned after adding the spacer, but i should probably get that done.

look into the technosquare ecu i have heard its the best one out there for the 5AT coupes its about 600 i think. If you do get it besure you have all the mods done to your car because they program it for the specific mods that are on your car. If you add other parts after you get the ECU i think it cost like 100 dollars to send it in again and have it reflashed.
