Mrev2+spacer, Carbon Ztube
Looks good.
I wish someone would make/sell a carbon fiber version of the OEM ram-air intake... ...perhaps with some improvements or revisions. Of course, I'm talking about one that's smooth inside.
I decided to leave off my CF G-tube and install an OEM Z-tube instead. Once UTR's newer version is released (October?)... ...full CF with the smooth interior... ...I might upgrade. There were just too many fibers from the fiberglass that protruded too high from the interior wall for my peace of mind. I wasn't sure if they would get brittle with heat and age and possibly break off.
The only reason I might updgrade the Z-tube to the newer UTR version, due later, is for the same reasons that I got the original... ...better sound resonance and better heat insulation (for what little it's worth).
