Stock engine cover, carbon fiber cover, or no cover?

Was wondering what members have opted for on their G's? I assume, having the engine cover off is to allow heat to dissapate better? Are the carbon fiber engine covers purely for dressing up engines? Any harm in having the engine cover off?
anybody have this?http://www.mossyperformance.com/product/?id=3629

I took mine off. I don't really know if it helps with heat dissapation but it sure can't hurt.

Thanx for the input guys. I'll probably take mine off--I just read a post not to long ago about the foam that is underneath the hood coming off due to not having an engine cover?
fortytwo, you have the jdm engine cover that covers the whole engine?

Sure. I don't have any already, so I'll take a couple tomorrow and post them.

I wish someone making on after-market cover for the G would do it without that stupid cut-out for the resonator!

After-all, many of us dress up our engines with a CAI or the Z-tube, and the cut-out just looks odd.
