I am planning to wrap my stock rims in carbon fiber for the time being till I get enough money for new rims. Should wrap it or no?

Remove it. Keep your rims plasti dipped if you want. IMHO keep it clean like the first pic.

Do not waste your time and $$ making trivial/useless mods! Looking for rims, attend meets and shows in your area to find what you like and can afford! You can also check your our garages and gallery for ideas, you're better off seeing them in person...Gary
