I saw a post here a looong time ago where someone painted the lettering on the hood insulation. I decided to do it too.
I removed the multitude of clips, and removed the insulation.
Put it on the kitchen table and used silver model paint and carefully brush painted the letters. Came out ok. You need a real steady hand and lots of patience to do this.

No, more like I finally broke out the camera when I took out the lites and took pics of past mods.

But I am working on a few other things.
