Regular Grade Gas
I went in for a fill up.. the fuel attendent comes up and is checkout out my G35... and not listening to me whne i said "fill, SUPER"... he's like "nice car"...
he seemed new to country... and began the fuel...
I recently got TINTS and couldn't see the fuel pump from the side...
once it was complete and i pulled out and got home.. and checked out the receipt more clearly... he filled w/ REGULAR GRADE gas...
i felt the doggish ride... so now i got a full tank of 87 octane... do i burn it out.. or suck it out and put in my jeep.. or add an Octane Booster????
this sucks...2 weeks or crappy performance...

That same thing happened to me when I had a turbo charged STi, I came in with 1/4 tank, didnt catch it till there was like 1 gallon left to go, which I made him put in with super, and didnt pay for. I just drove my car around really weak for the next week, and every 1/8 or 1/4 I would stop and put premium in, it was pretty annoying, but I had no misfires or pings going on, and thats really all I cared about. I guess if you really want to do it a quicker way, suck it out till you have just enough to get to the gas station and then fill back up with the premium.
Too much trouble to siphon out the gas. You'll have to have a 20+ gallon container to hold all of the fuel. The knock sensor will keep your motor safe if you ever needed to run it up a bit. Just use it all up. You could add the octane booster but I still don't think it's worth the effort. It's not like you're gonna use all 280/298hp every single time you step on the gas pedal.
dont worry bout it...sometimes gas is rated higher then it says it is...it wont kill ur car....throw 2 bottles of super 104 in ur tank and tahts all u really need 2 do and u can drive ur car n e way u want...either way with or without the booster.....noit a big problem....

In NJ it's against the law to pump your own gas.

But, I guess if the law says you can't pump it yourself, you've got no choice (except to move!).

totally off-topic, but what dealership did you buy from? im at Elon
I'm in NJ.. they got attendents to pump gas...
there was a place where this guy was scanning people's Cerdit Cards and buying stuff internationally... so it's always a good idea to watch these guys... when they take ur CC to fuel...
i would not have this problem isfmy local Gas station wasn't under construction...
i'll try an octane booster... cuz i drove it today and it didn't have that pick up i was getting acustomed to..

Octane boosters tend to leave reddish metallic [fouling] deposits on the spark plugs and valves.
Most people don't understand the the POINT they refer [in advertising] to is not 1.0 but 0.1 increase in octane...........you might need 20-40 bottles to make up the deficit between regular and premium............not 2!
For sure refineries don't round down but up 86.50000000000001 = 87 maybe
