What type of mods would it take to beat the s2000 in the 1/4 mile?

Yeah... seriously if the S2000 is stock your G should be able to smoke it w/o mods.

 

U can't smoke an s2000 with propet driver, U might be able to pull a car or so till 100mph, but not smoke it.

 

What does the G run stock? I thought it was low 14's....The S2000 is averaging high 13's as tested on the 1/4. Here is an article from road and track setting it at 13.9. Dont get me wrong, I would rather have a G, however, it seems the S2000 is consistently being tested at a faster time.

(Note the 350Z 30th Anniversary which is lighter than the G35 and has 298hp like the new G35 coupe is slower than the S2000 in this comparison)...

Don't underestimate the s2000.

If the driver stay in the high powerband and in vtec, the car is fast.

 

If they launch at a correct (for the specific platform) 6000RPM than you are right. I dont own one, I have many friends that do. I've seen them run. I have an 05 RSX Type-S which dosent compare..lol

 

if the S2000 (S2200 to be exact) lauches correctly, they pull on the Gs...
Stock for Stock, we are like 5.6 / low 14s

they are like 5.5/ high 13s

 

One base ball bat and I can beat it in a parking lot. I don't need to go to the track to do that!
